ingenious when faced with gut wrenching feelings regarding injustice. Hope protesters and first responders are all safe.

About the first responders time, manpower, and NY taxpayer’s money wasted to remove the protesters on a holiday. They also mention first responders missing a barbecue.

Turned to MSNBC, different perspective. Ali Velshi concerned about both parties safety, security, and the importance of why the protest (not dismissing the illegal act).

5. Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty Island is open almost year round, 7 days a week.

Because the ferry for the Island is also useful to get to New Jersey from Manhattan, and is used for that purpose often.

4. MSNBC broke into regular programming, briefly.

Supposedly has "rise and resist" on a tee-shirt. Police have given water and something to eat. Earlier group arrested for protesting ICE. Don't know if this protester is part of that or not.
