President Donald Trump has no plan for the possibility that Democrats will retake congressional majorities in November’s midterm elections.

Aides to former President George W. Bush correctly believed they would lose their Republican majority in the U.S. House and formed a secret “Oh Sh*t Group” to prepare, but the Trump White House isn’t doing that, reported Axios.

Bush’s staff met regularly in chief of staff Josh Bolten’s office to game out their strategy for dealing with Democrats, but sources said Trump and some White House officials are certain the GOP will hold onto their majorities in the House and Senate.

Some administration officials aren’t quite as confident as their colleagues, according to Axios, and some congressional Republicans have tried to convince the president to prepare — but aides say they spend most days in reaction mode.

9. I agree with you two - the lack of concern to me is a signal

that they are working at a level where they believe that machine hacking, voter suppression and gerrymandering will moot overwhelming votes against them.

The reason I say this is that this appears to be the same attitude they had two years ago. Absolutely nothing has been done to change the circumstances that handed the presidency to Trump on a silver platter in 2016.

They were thieves before they walked into the White House. They have used their positions to line their pockets. Putin has convinced them, they will get away with it. My only hope is when Putin is done with the traitor, he releases the information. Putin is his pet snake...

Trump and the GOP have left the USA wide open to election fraud/interference/manipulation by the Russians and any other foreign actor that wants to get into the game.

Massive blue wave is our only hope in the midterms.

11. They won't try to hide it

At some point a group that has a gangster mentality will be out in the open with their crimes because they want their victims to know they are helpless to stop them. They want to make it at least semi-obvious when they steal the November election to dishearten Dems.

They seem to be 2 steps ahead of the Dems because the Dems don't yet realize who they're dealing with. Think of the most outrageous things and they'll do them, things that have never been attempted in the US before are being done. And the White House and the entire Federal Government is about to be deployed to help the GOP this Fall, doesn't matter if that's against the law, they don't care.
