before all of that is dismantled by the Trumpites?
A little while ago I heard a loud creaking sound followed immediately by a very loud WHUMP. I looked outside and saw that a huge tree branch (half a tree, really) had fallen from a large tree across the street and landed right in the middle of the roadway, making it difficult for cars to get around it (it's a 2-lane residential street). So I called the city's non-emergency 311 service and reported it - and in less then 20 minutes the public works people had arrived. They're cleaning it up now. I was thinking what a great thing it is to have good public services like that, and I wonder how long it will be before the local government Trumpists, of which there are many everywhere, try to take it all away.

There are people - cultists, really - who don't see the cause and effect. If Trumpists took over the city council in my town and started cutting services, other Trumpists would just complain about the inefficiency of the city employees responsible for delivering the services and not get why it was happening.

This is why our taxes are too high.
