Big Eddy

As for now I want to remember the good times. I have met Ed and his Wife
2 times and they were kind and decent. I want to remember the man who enjoyed
fishing for big pike, football, and the working people.

Sometimes things get complected and what you thought about somebody might have
been wrong but anybody who enjoyed a big old Labrador Retriever and the outdoors had
to have had a good side too.

I think he had a good heart. I know his seeming erratic and shifting political views did not diminish so much of his earlier work, even while I found them frustrating. RIP, Ed

His wife was ill, he needed insurance coverage..MSNBC dumped him.. he had to have a job with coverage..

My husband's company moved us all over the us, because they knew he would never quit. We had a handicapped son whose medical coverage would have put us in the poor house. There was no coverage for pre-existing conditions then.

we all do what we have to do

He was a passionate man and an interesting talker. It’s sad he sold out at the end. I think its what broke him.

He took the time slot that Al Franken gave up. You knew it was the beginning of the show when you heard the first strains of this:
