Not been on campus just watching the news like everyone else.

Only chance Jordan had to avoid this issue was of the accusations were held to only 1 victim reporting and Jordan did credible interview on the news.

Result: There is at least 5 wrestlers reporting plus champ Coleman taking the victims side. Jordan looked evasive and shifty on Fox interview did not hear anyone say he was believable. GOP is having trouble with women now so this Jordan has to go to avoid losing the rest of the Trump women voters. Lets see what they say on Sunday news shows but I expect Jordan to be gone next week.

4. "Just locker room talk!" That's what Jordan called it
Sat Jul 7, 2018, 02:42 AM
Jul 2018

...that might work when you have a 60+ jerkoff bragging in a trailer about grabbing women's privates (that's what Trump called it-- "Just locker room talk"--

But these aren't guys bragging. They are young men telling a coach that the team doctor was using treatment as an excuse to molest them sexually. This would never be dismissed as "just bragging"-- they'd hardly "Brag" about being abused.

The good thing is, this turd is going to keep going on TV and trying to justify himself. He has already pretty much admitted that indeed, he WAS told that this was going on. He's trying to say he thought it was "just locker room talk," but I think everyone who has ever been in a locker room knows people don't make this sort of thing up and "brag" about it.

... according to a news story I read yesterday.

If it's true then that takes it out of the "possible consent" arena because young men under 18 years cannot give consent. I don't know if any of these young men have come forward yet. If they have, it would surely ratchet up the Ohio media. It shouldn't be partisan politics in play here, this is wrong no matter who did it.

Just sayin'

And I could see people trying to ignore this at Ohio State just like the shit at Penn State and the country just being horrified. I saw one woman on Twitter last night say they are all liars because “our boys” are great wrestlers who’d fight off all advances.

NEW: Ex-Ohio State sports doctor's family says they're aiding sex abuse investigation, along with the "alleged victims" https://t.co/T6GYC3hfqV

4 paragraph article.

The family of the late doctor at the center of a sexual misconduct investigation at Ohio State University is speaking out publicly for the first time, saying they learned of the allegations involving Dr. Richard Strauss through news reports.

A statement Saturday morning from Scott Strauss, whom court records identify as the son of the former Ohio State doctor, said his family was “shocked and saddened to hear the allegations of misconduct against the late Dr. Richard H. Strauss.?

Ohio State first announced in April that it was looking into allegations of sexual misconduct involving Richard Strauss, stemming form initial reports of abuse during Strauss’ time as a physician with the men’s wrestling team in the 1980s. Since then, independent investigators working with the university have interviewed more than 150 former students or witnesses, and former student-athletes from at least 14 men’s sports teams have reported allegations of sexual misconduct.

Scott Strauss’ statement marks the first time family members of Richard Strauss, who killed himself in 2005, have spoken publicly about the investigation.

20. Now revelations about masturbating voyeurs.

This story is NOT going away.

Politico: ‘A cesspool of deviancy’: New claims of voyeurism test Jordan denials

A half-dozen ex-wrestlers told POLITICO they were regularly harassed in their training facility by sexually aggressive men who attended the university or worked there. The voyeurs would masturbate while watching the wrestlers shower or sit in the sauna, or engage in sexual acts in the areas where the athletes trained, the former wrestlers said.

Larkins Hall, the building that housed athletic teams, became such a well-known target that people who frequented it at the time have reminisced in anonymous postings online how easy it was to ogle naked members of the wrestling team.

The situation was so egregious that former wrestling head coach Russ Hellickson would at times have to physically drag the gawkers out of the building, several sources familiar with his actions at the time said. Hellickson also pleaded with the university multiple times to move their athletes to a private facility, the sources said. Jordan served as Hellickson’s No. 2, and the coach has been described as Jordan’s mentor. ...

“Coaching my athletes in Larkins Hall was one of the most difficult things I ever did,” said a former wrestling coach who worked with Jordan but asked not to be named. “It was a cesspool of deviancy. And that’s a whole ’nother story that no one has addressed.”

I hope they can get the former head coach Hellickson on the record. Makes me wonder if OSU administration officials were deliberately looking away. If so this story is wandering into Jerry Sandusky territory.

Look out, Buckeye fans! This is getting very messy.

FOUR screens of "News Headlines" on the Youngstown Vindicator's website on my tablet and saw not one mention of the Jordan scandal. (this was on my tablet) ... I can't believe it.

I'm sure it's being given a lot more space in the Columbus Dispatch. It's not going away, anyway.

A lot of the Trumper Troglodytes around here are also big OSU fans, and I'd love to hear what Jim Tressel has to say. (he is the president of Youngstown State). Why hasn't any reporter interviewed him yet??
