Palin On Bachmann: I Dont Think Its Her Time
Sarah Palin told FOX News this is not Michele Bachmanns time to be president, and she should ask her supporters to coalesce around someone else.
As for Michelle Bachmann. She has a lot to offer, also, but I dont think it is her time this go around. And I believe that unless she, too, wants to spend her own money or borrowing money and perhaps go into debt. Which heaven forbid, you do that to your family? Perhaps she is one, too, who would start saying supporters of mine, why dont we coalesce around one of the other candidates and lets move together as a team to get that right primary candidate chosen?

p.s. I've been wondering lately about how Palin has been feeling about 'another woman' being in the spotlight!

When asked whether a last place finish in the caucuses would knock her out of the race, Bachmann said she not only plans to compete in upcoming New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida primaries but "to go all the way."
"We've bought tickets to head off to South Carolina, and we are looking forward to the debates," she said. "January is a very full month. We're here for the long race. This is a 50-state race."
Bachmann also reiterated a promise that she will be "America's iron lady," saying the country "needs a candidate that will be in the legacy of a Ronald Reagan and of a Margaret Thatcher."

NOTE: Palin is NOT going to like the fact that Bachmann is referencing Thatcher.
Palin tried to use The Thatcher card a year or so ago, saying that she was going to go and MEET with Margaret Thatcher - but Thatcher's staff heard about it in the news and they said: "NO WAY!"

And, btw, I wonder how much money Palin wasted on just becoming a major joke to America & the world?
Fun to watch the claws come out, even though everything the ten-gallon pot's saying about the kettle is spot on.

for some reason I thought it was longer ago than that.

(15,682 posts)third (teabagger) party. Anyone know how she's registered? Independent? She made it very clear that she would jump in if America needed her. Since no one has begged her to help (and that's got to just irk her) I wouldn't be surprised if she rushed in to save the day after a Romney nomination.
She and Trump would make a lovely third party couple, imo.

(36,988 posts)SEPTEMBER 2012:
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin gives an interview on Fox News in which she announces that "it's not too late" for her to enter the race for the 2012 GOP nomination. "Who knows what might happen in the future?" she chirps to an incredulous Gretchen Carlson. Despite the fact that the nomination has already been awarded to Romney, contributions pour in to Palin's campaign headquarters. Palin uses the contributions to purchase a yacht, which she christens the "One Nation" and uses on an extended "campaign tour" of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

(36,974 posts)Palin got a job as an political analyst on FoxNews after the 2008 campaign,
but as I hear it Roger Ailes is not happy with her - so HE might have learned his lesson by now.
Herman Cain has been on CNN a few times yacking, I think FauxNews isn't too interested in him.
Perry can't take a news job since he'll still be Governor for a few more years.
Bachmann will still be a U.S. Rep in The House,
and Ron Paul is too nutty for FoxNews to hire.
No one wants to listen to Newt.
Santorum is boring.
Mitt Romney sure isn't going to want to work at anything.
I think that just leaves Huntsman and the majority of folks don't even know who the hell he is
Edited to change Murdock to Roger Ailes.

(25,183 posts)there will be a LOT of people saying this to Bachmann. Even they see she's gone completely looney tunes in the last couple of weeks, and her presence harms the fundie favorite in the race. By the end of this week, we'll see a whole bunch of evangelical preachers and reich wing politicians telling her to give it up.
