Watching the Iowa Caucus online?

Last edited Tue Jan 3, 2012, 07:39 PM - Edit history (3)

Anyone know of television outlets who will have live feeds to coverage? I'm outside the US but have a VPN.

Edit: C-Span will have coverage starting at 8pm Eastern according to their website.

I've had one response with some links, but hoping for more.

Edit 2: Still no other links. Checking all of the major networks to see if they will have direct feeds, if not it looks like the secondary feed or C-Span may be it.

Edit 3: This one is good. Watching CNN via this link (Hat tip to Tx4obama):

1. Al Jazeera?

I kid. I don't actually have a clue. I haven't had cable for 15 years. But really, Al Jazeera is my go to for all news international. I just suspect that the Iowa Caucus just might not be considered all that important internationally.

That's why I was looking for a feed from the US. I had cable in Korea, but here in China all we get is the programmed government crap. Thanks anyway though.

there is a United States section on the link below

BIG LIST HERE: http://www.tvpc.com/ChannelList.php

p.s. I only use any links from the link above if the other two links that I previously posted aren't working for some reason.

p.s.s Some of those USA links on the link above are finicky and need to be clicked on twice before they start up and sometimes they take a few extra seconds to load.

Getting feeds to watch things especially news is a pain when you are outside the US.

Offtopic:
I have long ago given up on NFL football except to watch it on rare occasions when NBC has their Sunday night games on. Sometimes the sacrifice of living overseas is not worth missing the food, politics and football at home.

when I've been to Italy a few times for long periods of time I didn't really miss US TV.
I did love all the Italian stations (news, variety, cooking shows) over there because I was still working on learning the language at the time.
I guess it would be difficult for folks that are sports fans.

are better than the ones in comment #6 for CNN and MSNBC, in my opinion.
But I've used both several times depending on which ones were working the best

Also, on this link that I posted before: http://www.rentadrone.tv/cnn-live-stream/
toward the top of the page there are links for streaming Current TV (Olbermann), C-Span1,2,3, and a bunch of others.
