I got an email from "US Concealed Online" .... encouraging me to get qualified for a Concealed Carry permit for free. They insist that qualification takes less than 60 seconds and Certification takes less than 30 minutes.

Somehow I am not comforted by the fact that this is all it takes to allow someone to concealed carry.

There was a story in our local news the other day about a grandmother who was shot in the leg while waiting to see fireworks with her grandchild at our local mall. Police are still trying to figure out what happened.

I have no idea why I got this email since I have never owned a gun in my entire life nor obviously have I ever donated money to any pro gun organizations.
