How about we send some Navy Seals to help out some kids?
Yes the efforts in Thailand are inspiring but the disconnect im seeing in the media is amazing.
Even on ESPN this morning I heard "Any parent or anyone has to feel for their parents...."

(17,862 posts)Four out so far. Thailand is a modern country, and I think they are up to the challenge. I actually thought the Musk offer was kind of insulting. If they ask for help, then that is another thing.

(3,515 posts)It's great that the children in Thailand are being rescued, but what about children deliberately taken from their parents.
The children in Thailand should never have been taken into that cave by the way.

Great post
Actually I couldn't figure out the last part/complete thought. I deferred to leaving it undone.
Thanks though.

(58,785 posts)about June 28. Failing any dead or badly abused children turning up, it may stay that way a while.
Itm, attention to children in Thailand does not take away. It's still about decency and caring.
What does bother me tremendously is those who have the nerve to say we may never reunite all the children with their parents, clearly willing to accept that outrageous evil. Sub their own child in, and I'm sure every single person saying that wouldn't be able to find a single reason why it shouldn't have already happened.
