A professor was giving a TV interview about Polish politics. His cat didn't care.

Cats.

They care not for your affection, your familiar voice or perhaps even for your overall existence.

And they certainly don’t care about your career as a respected academic or any fancy television interviews taking place in your office.

Polish historian Jerzy Targalski discovered this during an on-camera appearance on a Dutch news program when his cat unceremoniously climbed atop his head in the middle of the interview.

Just an observation: the cameraman clearly focused on the cat and went along with the show...

for our existence. The video is perfect proof of that unless you don't understand how a cat expresses affection. The last one is entirely correct. They don’t give a fig about your career as a respected academic. I guess 1 out of 4 isn't too bad. I was impressed by the professor's love and respect for his cat. He could have removed the cat at any time.
