General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWarning TV news watchers, it's going to be Trump announcing his USSC pick tonight, and
every news network will be playing the orange anus video clips over and over and over until you're sick to your stomach. Its nights like tonight where you might want to stay away from the TV news torture. Think I might watch The Science Channel or American Pickers or maybe a baseball game. TCM have a good movie tonight?

(82,849 posts)I think watching the movie again will be a more profitable use of my time. 84 minutes with Gary Cooper, Grace Kelly, Katy Jurado and Lloyd Bridges sounds pretty good about now. Also, Lee Van Cleef in his movie debut, and he doesn't say a word.

(5,554 posts)Pirate Radio is a movie starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Bill Nighy, and Nick Frost. A band of rogue DJs that captivated Britain, playing the music that defined a generation and standing up to a government that wanted classical music, and nothing else, on the airwaves.

(10,299 posts)I think that'll be the phrase tonight. I don't watch much TV but the Google Home is nearly constantly on BBC World Service Radio. At least BBC Radio 4 Extra is a news-free zone.... maybe I'll get a chuckle or two.
