As far as the Supreme Court goes...

I've seen a lot of people talking about how the Supreme Court will be "lost for a generation" if Trump's pick is confirmed. The Court has been 4-4 with one swing vote (who swung to the right more often than left) so if the Spray Tan Man's pick gets in, it's 5-4, conservatives.

But the Supreme Court doesn't have to be lost for a generation! Oust the Bloated Warthog in 2020, and guess what? Clarence Thomas is 70. He'll be 72 in 2020. Alito will be 70 in 2020. If we can get the Presidency from 2020-2028, then Ginsberg and Breyer could retire if they wished, be replaced with liberal judges, and if Thomas or Alito go, then that gets us to 5-4, our way.

Of course, I would like to see us deny the Heritage Judges, but the best thing to do is to boot the Cantaloupe Colluder from office.

Just my opinion. I think Trump's nominee is a disaster, and the longer we can fight his nomination and/or a second pick, the fewer cases that justice will hear and rule on. But there's no real reason to assume the Court will be lost for a generation.

Senators in 2018, and that is unlikely. Thomas will retire before the 2020 election. It probably will be before Dec. 2019 ( you know the Mcconnel rule).

Trump said now we can REWRITE the constitution. Looks like it may happen.
