Hacking voter registration info can have same impact as hacking vote totals

You don't need to hack vote counts on election day in order to swing an election. Taking someone off the voter roles will have the same effect.

I'd like to tell you about what happened to me in 2016. I live in Delaware, so ultimately it didn't impact the election, but when I went to vote, my name didn't show up in the book. I had to call the election board and confirm my voter registration and file a provisional ballot, but it took extra time to do that, and other people may be disinclined to bother. Now, I had moved close to the registration deadline, so I assumed that was the reason. But this is the wierd part. My wife was able to vote, and we had both re-registered at the DMV at the same time. The only difference is that I am registered as a Democrat and she is an Independent. I'm not suggesting that anything nefarious had occurred, but it shows a way that voting can be impacted by hacking the registration systems.

1. From one state election board, the Russians managed to steal information on 500,000 voters

The Russians had access to information on 500,000 voters.

The Russians allegedly hacked America's election infrastructure, including state election boards and secretaries of state. The allegations in Friday's indictment went well beyond merely hacking the Clinton campaign and Democratic campaign committees. From one state election board, the Russians managed to steal information on 500,000 voters, Rosenstein said, although he did not identify which state. Trump won the 2016 election by winning three key states by slim margins that added up to around 80,000 votes.

that claim they were denied voting because of dropped registrations and run ads about them. Screw whether they can actually link it to hacks. Just plow ahead and make as much noise as possible. Have someone appear on every talk and opinion show they can find. Even have a group of them at the DNC Convention and other high profile meetings.

When the last DNC convention happened here in Philly, I had it on (whether TV or streaming) each day the entire time the speeches were given, all the way through primetime in the evening. There were dozens and dozens of speakers. However I doubt the average person - particularly those who are working during the day - would be watching that, although they might catch some in the evening... let alone the media even caring. This is just a sad fact.

Wealthy liberals and progressives need to buy up media outlets. Period. Do what Sinclair is doing - force the message onto those stations YOU own. That's the only way. Otherwise, know that the media is all RW-owned and will NOT cover what we say or do unless it is negative and gives them a "if it bleeds it leads" story.

You can't just show up at a news outlet and demand to be put on as a guest. It doesn't work that way thanks to Raygun getting rid of the "Fairness Doctrine". You have to be INVITED on and it's not in the best interest of the RW-owned mass broadcast & cable media to cater to Democrats (unless they can get good ratings - and even then, they will find a way to torpedo that).

Yup. For those who may only have had a brief amount of time to vote (due to work or other obligations), having to go through the provisional ballot process might have been too much.

And since you mention "book", we have the same here in Philly - each division (precinct) has alphabetical books (alphabet divided - like "A - L" and "M - Z", so there are 2 books) of printed sheets with each voter's name and facsimile of their "registered signature", and including a line for the voter to sign when they come in to vote. Other places might only have a computer that connects to a voter database, which itself brings up other issues.

Went to change our registration in person. The worker was going to use my spouses’s ID number(driver license) for both of us!
I caught it in time, but still!

You might not have seen them because DU was down.

There were ones about Michigan and Wisconsin at the time.

not everyone took the time, i am sure. but those that did filed a public record, they are witnesses to this crime.
we need to find them, and interview them.

the proof is lying in plain sight.
