Ok, It's Been 15 Hours And I'm Still In A Rage.

Friday's CBS Evening News aired a brief clip showing Donald Trump and Theresa May at a press conference after their meeting yesterday afternoon. Reporters questions were being fielded and when CNN's Jim Acosta tried have his turn Trump immediately shut him down - I'm paraphrasing here - "Sorry, we don't talk to fake news organizations, CNN is fake, we ignore them in America, etc." He then pointed to John Roberts of Fox News and slobbered him with praise and glowing adjectives, virtually gushing like rivers out of his rotten pores. Of course Roberts didn't have the decency or balls to suggest that Mr. Acosta should have had his turn.

Meanwhile, Theresa May looked uncomfortable and uneasy, and rightly so.

It's funny how a thing like this set me off, but it was classic Trump - a 15 second news clip that illustrated what he is made of.

I hate that fucking Donald Trump like no other person in this world. I can't wait for the day when he's gone from the face of this earth and I can do my happy dance - and I can't dance worth a damn..........

about trump cozying up to Russia. I really wish the national news would acknowledge that trump has changed much of our international policies to suit the desires of mother russia. I know your answer. CNN is as middle of the road as possible. This whole "left wing media" has been combated by day long banks of folks from both sides giving opinions and droning on. This 'equal time' bit (that isn't even legal, and how they infested and destroyed PBS-to name one- on a lot of fronts) has allowed a platform for people to spin and spin ugly and untrue messages. All under the phony premise that the media is biased and left wing. Giving equal time to enemies of the state isn't my idea of a good thing anymore and should end.

"to counter a perceived liberal bias in the media". They pulled it, probably when someone realized it it specifically stated they were created with a real conservative bias to counter, not a real, but a merely perceived, liberal bias.

Trump is so tiresome and predictable that I fully expect that all his public appearances will be one continuous stream of vulgarity, lies, and faux pas's. I no longer allow my anger to rise over his antics. My peace of mind is much more important than being filled with rage over the likes of him. It like taking the trash out. I don't get angry when the kitchen trash can is full. I just take the trash out. So it is with Trump. We all need to stay calm in the face of his evil stupidity and just focus on electing Dems straight ticket in Nov. Then come Jan, when we Dems own the House, we can do happy dances. We can rejoice as the sword of justice falls on his head.

He's following Hitler's playbook and it's working beautifully for him so far. Press denigrated and not believed by a significant percentage of the population - check. Denigrate a portion of the population just because of their ethnicity, lie about them constantly and take away their humanity (they're animals), and get the citizens to turn against them - check. They are defying court orders and the courts are looking away and not calling them on it. drumpf says if they've already deported the parents, the children don't have to be reunified - it takes my breath away that the courts are allowing them to steal babies and children for fun and profit.

Drumpf is in the process of installing a SCOTUS who has written that a president can be indicted for no crime while in office. Mueller is setting the table for treason charges by showing the Russian government was conspiring against us and if he has real proof (which I would think is a 100% yes) will SCOTUS throw out the treason charges? If that happens, we are done s a country. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, free schools, labor laws, right of assembly and association and even the free press will be gone because we will be a dictatorship with nothing to stop the oligarchs worst most destructive wet dreams of destroying the working class by stealing all our money and removing any rules stopping this. Will anyone in power stand up against this traitorous cabal when half of the 2 main political parties is all in on the treason, will us taking to the streets make a difference, at all? Would this create the Tianamen Square moment, where all shreds of freedom are crushed?

I would love to think we will survive, things can return to normalcy and decency, but right now I don't feel very optimistic. I will vote straight D, I will write letters, sign petitions, call congress critters, make calls, knock on doors - but if Russia steals the election, (which I'm sure is being coordinated just next week) how do we survive?

We have to convince people that the situation is serious and the future of nation is at stake. Michael Moore, ho correctly predicted that Trump would win the election, is predicting that Trump will win reelection in 2020. The Republican block is solid and will not be shaken. They only suffer defeat when Democrats and Independents show up at the polls. I am hoping that Moore is wrong, just as he hopes, but, the younger voters must be convinced that their future is at stake.

Chief Sanitation Engineer.
Then when I bag (double) every nite--food/kitchen, paper goods, bags from the cleaners, stuff from cleaning up the yard, you name it. I spray the first scented bag with some room freshener. Then a clear second bag. I have a thing about bags breaking and who's gonna clean the mess. I do have a small bird b4 I get it done when everbody goes off to bed and outta my way. 😁 After finishing, I have satisfaction and relief. Whew! 😤

Then I finish cleaning up from supper, do some laundry, then treat myself to a sweet or savory snack AND go on DU! 🍪🍧🍰🥜🍕🍟

We ordered two gigantic trash bins when we moved to this place in 2016. They give you one and you pay for extras. Good thinking on my part. We are either really clean or really dirty. Looks like the latter? 😆

This is halfway into July. We got three months after that to the midterm election. I try not to be on edge. It's ebb and flow in the emotions department.

So funny! I just checked out Fake News CNN, for the first time in a long time (they are dying in the ratings), to see if they covered my takedown yesterday of Jim Acosta (actually a nice guy). They didn’t! But they did say I already lost in my meeting with Putin. Fake News......
