Whatever Was Her Majesty Thinking?

Just posted a silly idea of what might have been going through Queen Elizabeth II's mind as she was dealing with the gold-plated turd some regard as a president.

So, I thought, let's play a game. Alas, I have neither the resources nor the skill set to post actual pictures from the meeting and paste little thought clouds over the Queen's head, but it still seems like fun to consider the infinite universe of possibilities.

There's an old line about, "Not for all the tea in China", that only geezers and biddies will recall. For some reason (probably the association of tea and the British Empire's past in dealing with China) I think that may have originally been a British English expression.

So, what are your thoughts on her thoughts?

but the experience of having to entertain that dolt would rank for me someplace between high tea with a macaque that isn't potty trained and eating spoiled haggis.

Attributed to Churchill, but it seems appropriate for what she was having to endure and knowing there was an end in sight

She's been Queen a long time. She'll be Queen still when he's gone.
She sees the big picture and decided to be gracious, as always.

Her Majesty provided another few moments for the world to see Britain as mature, strong and charitable.

Long ago she learned to keep that look of "what an insufferable dolt" off her face. Even when the idiot stopped cold right in front of her and she had to amble around him she maintained. Considering how hard it is for her to get around these days, it no doubt took her entire lifetime of practice to do so.
