Roller derby teams band together to donate water to Flint (watch the video to see my bro!)

Allow me to do a little bragging - My brother is in the center of this ongoing project. (His "derby name" is Ocho and he is interviewed in the clip.) Teams from surrounding areas, and even as far away as Chicago, have been bringing truck loads of bottled water to be donated to the people of Flint. I think they deserve some slightly more far reaching attention, so I'm sharing this with all of you. Roller Derby people are some of the best people around.

2. They are still replacing pipes, but that's not enough

People's water heaters have been damaged, too. AND not all of the pipes have been replaced, yet. And to be brutally honest, after all of the lies, very few people have much faith in the state telling them their water (pretty much the most expensive in the country) is actually fit to drink.

8. There are a number of teams throughout Michigan

Lansing, Mount Pleasant, Flint, Detroit, Ann Arbor - lots of teams. Most have their own web pages with schedules.
