Trickle on economics is a scam and doesn't work. Workers are getting killed by the tax cuts combined with the tariffs.

For several years under Obama people lamented wage growth of 2.0% yearly, but that was good considering inflation was around 0%. As long as wage growth is outpacing inflation workers are seeing real wage growth and are improving their situation. Now we have inflation approaching 3% and set to soar, this eats all the wage growth up and then some. Inflation will explode if the trade war heats up and workers will see their paychecks stretched thinner and thinner.
