the intelligence communities findings as to Russia's involvement in the election.

He used the word "disappointed" multiple times.

It was quite a long answer and the only positive spin I can remember is something to the effect that "we all want a good relationship with Russia".

It will not put a smile on trumps face.

Corker has an opportunity to save himself from the burning pits of hell right now. He is not running for reelection and could step forward and do the right thing.

that even though they are not running for reelection, they have plans to be lobbyists or get other lucrative positions within the Republican framework. Therefore, they cannot piss off their potential future benefactors.
