We had a ludicrous hope it wouldn't but the media knew, people who love America knew, the world knew. It would have been a great surprise if he had stood up to putin. We knew and the entire world knew.

We are partially in this mess because they care more about rating and making a name for themselves than journalist integrity. Not all of them but most of the cable news people.
