But fuck Ronald Reagan.

I had a much longer reply typed out, but it was a long-winded way of saying fuck saint ronnie. The proto-Trump. Only thing I'll give him credit for is being a better actor than Trump. Reagan, ok I can see how you fooled people into thinking you were "stately," you at least acted better at being the "president".

I wasn't alive during his presidency, but I hate him all the same. I feel like he was the first true example of "sell the sizzle, not the steak."

And given the GOP's penchant for rank hypocracy, I would not be surprised if we eventually find out that he was completely on the take from the Russians.

Again, fuck him, and I hope that whatever garbage "legacy" eventually ends up in the dustbin of history, as an example of where we fucked up. One can dream...
