GOP Base & GOP Voter OK W/Trump's Actions Today. At Least Hillary IS NOT POTUS.

The caller to C-Span by Trump supporter says it all about the GOP as well as its leadership. They are glad the Russians got Trump in. The conclusion by GOPPERS generally will be that Russian help was worth it and collaboration with the Russians moving forward is better than having Hillary for president and Democrats in control.

To be brutally honest we have an entire party and at least 30% and perhaps more of the citizenry that are OK with the present state of affairs. And they will continue to support Trump. We must realize that the nation is that divided.

I do not expect the GOP leadership to do anything much. Their criticism will be "crocodile tears" over the matter and they will continue to obstruct and even end the Mueller investigation.

Confederates fought against the United States in the civil war, and it wasn’t so long ago that Rick Perry talked about Texas leaving the United States when Obama was President. Republicans now proudly brag about obstructing President Obama even when he was willing promote republican ideas.

That 30% of Americans would embrace a President who sold his country out for a few loans and playtime with some prostitutes . . . don’t shock me none.

Predictit is a betting market run by a university in New Zealand, legal in the US. You can bet on political events like elections. I have read betting markets predict better than polls. No change today on Trump. Republicans winning house 2018 down one point.

So far today seems inconsequential.
