Yes, but it is not easy. Remember the EU is still very young, has 28 members (UK is still member and hope will remain), 24 different languages and various cultures.

It takes time to set a model which will meet all members' agreement. We've already done great steps forward. We also had to deal with underground attacks from foreign powers as they see EU as a threat diminishing theirs. I'm sorry to say it, US when ruled by a Republican President is one of them. I still have in mind relentless attacks on Euro, trying to weaken our currency by any means.

In a way, Trump is almost a gift. He got exactly the opposite of what both he and his master wanted: he succeeded in uniting Europe around a common army project.

The Brexit disaster, whose perpetrators are precisely those who created yours, is making people think seriously and many finally realize Europe is a great opportunity. Unfortunately, the British are aware of this very concretely.

Until you'll have again a real President, sadly EU sees the US as a threat to the world stability. And still, even headed by a serious and a competent President, it will take decades before the US will recover from the damages Trump inflicted to the country.

In the name of antediluvian governance they tried to maintain at all costs, they only managed to isolate the USA. Even worse, from American power and driving force of the modern world, which everyone took as a reference, they made a pariah of it at the nation's bench.

Many were looking at me as if I had lost my mind. They couldn't understand why I suddenly became very concerned by US politic and why I am deeply anxious.

It is probably not striking as I am mostly light-toned and do not take myself seriously anyway, however I am deadly serious regarding current events. I also will put all my efforts as a world citizen, no matter how weak, at your side to help you fight the Hydra which threatens us all. Thankfully, you have noticed I am not the only one.

They knew to secure their elections after England and the US got screwed by Putin. Now they will be leading us in Climate Change, etc. I just hope that when the US eventually become sane again they will be kind enough to share their research and science data with us.

With all the damage being done, and real danger, it must be clear to all leaders that Trump policy is not true U.S. policy. Our government's been hijacked by this Hydra which, as you say, threatens us all. The threat's identified now, though.
