Apparently "n't" was left off of the "did" word in the report that says he did.

(27,792 posts)and the "sights" on the rifle he supposedly left on the 6th floor weren't even set correctly.
Multiple eyewitnesses told police they saw and heard the shot ring out from behind the grassy knoll, but none of them were ever called to testify before the Warren Commission.

(27,792 posts)But I'm still pissed off about the bullshit Warren Commission Report.
JFK was killed, and the bastards got away with it.

(8,747 posts)I live in Ft. Worth, and have visited the Sixth Floor Museum many times. I know guns and it was an easy series of shots, because the distance was relatively short.
As to the sights...the scope was mounted with figure eight sight mounts. The top of the eights held the scope. The bottom of the eights was open, and you could see the iron sights through them. Oswald was a Marine, and was trained using iron sights on the range. The only ones who use telescopic sights are the snipers. So Oswald used the iron sights.
