One West Texas servers Facebook post went viral after he shared a photo of a receipt where the patrons denied him a tip but instead left a note.
Khalil Cavil was waiting tables on Saturday at Saltgrass Steak House in Odessa, when he discovered the patrons left a note on the receipt. According to Cavils Facebook post his name Khalil was circled on the receipt withWe dont Tip Terrorist written across the top.
I share this because I want people to understand that this racism, and this hatred still exists. Although, this is nothing new, it is still something that will test your faith, Cavil wrote on the post. I have decided to let this encourage me, and fuel me to change the world the only way I know how.
The post has received more than 3,000 likes and more than 1,900 shares since it was first published.

(9,895 posts)These kind of people....cowards who surely left the note to avoid saying anything to the man's face....they deserve to wallow in the hellish existence that they lead. They deserve the constant state of fear and worry and terror. They deserve to be outed, mocked, ridiculed and debased. They deserve the kind of treatment they dole out anonymously while smiling and nodding to people's faces.
Dox the no tip bastards and plaster their face to their deeds. Let them defend themselves in the full light of day and let them face the music that they have written...it ain't gonna be a love song, that's for sure...

Yes, it's disgusting treatment which I certainly don't condone, but he is in an area of Texas where it might not be easy for him to find another job if he receives too much publicity.

(5,231 posts)"The Texas restaurant company which banned a customer after an employees story of a receipt scrawled with a racial epithet went viral said on Monday that it had parted ways with the employee and learned that the story was spurious."
After further investigation, we have learned that our employee fabricated the entire story, Terry Turney, the chief operating officer of Saltgrass steakhouses, said in a statement. Racism of any form is intolerable, and we will always act swiftly should it occur in any of our establishments. Falsely accusing someone of racism is equaling disturbing.
