I am really starting to believe that the majority of repukes in congress are being blackmailed

By Twitler with information gleaned from the Russians hacking the emails of theses congress critters. McConnell, Nunes, Graham especially come to mind. Salacious pictures, and incriminating email exchanges that could destroy them. That is why they are being kept in line. Every time one of those repukes are summoned to the White House they come out praising the orange shitgibbon profusely.

They must have some good stuff on Corker, Flake and Other repukes who are retiring.

anything as petty as hookers or extramarital affairs. It is money. They have broken campaign finance laws, taken bribes, engaged in illegal financial dealings.

Incriminating emails could be about rigging elections.

People can live down sexual indiscretions, but not the other things.

Affairs and hookers are sleezy but people don't go to prison over either one. Campaign finance shenanigans definitely will.

There is no "blackmail" or "kompromat." These people are just horrible people who want to destroy the country. In normal times, their mere attempt to get elected to anything would be routinely dismissed with a laugh and they'd never win any election. But, when you add the infusion of kremlin cash and a coordinated system of vote suppression and propaganda, along with a compliant revenue-hungry freak-show media ("It may not be good for America, but it's damn good for CBS." - Les Moonves) and all the rest, we are where we are today.
