Notably absent: Calls for Trump's resignation

Unless I'm missing it (possible), I have not heard any suggestion from pundits, Democrats or the "Never Trump" Republics that he should resign.

Yes, we know he won't - at least not until he is threatened with say - release of his tax returns. But that should not prevent at a minimum, the suggestion. Heck, I seem to recall a handful Democrats that suggested Clinton resign and practically every Republican DEMANDED it. Even McCain's strongly worded denunciation of Trump did not suggest resignation.

Yes, I know Pence in terms of policy and appointments would be just as bad, and nearly as corrupt and another right-wing religious nut. But the level of derangement probably does not approach what is blindingly obvious with Trump.

Trump’s Russian ownership will not be a surprise when the facts are stated. It will take a massive Republican loss in 2018 to knock the (R’s) off the fence who will then proclaim it was their idea all along.

Jason Villalba is a member of the Texas House of Representatives.

That's a start.

Any talk of resignation or impeachment will increase the right wing turnout. We have to play their game, and leave some things implied but unsaid.
