If they briefed Trump, they briefed the Gang of 8 and perhaps the full Intel Committees.

Remember that Intel briefing where everybody walked out shocked and pale faced? I do.

The Repubs torpedoed the House investigation. The Senators maintained silence for security reasons.

I'm not surprised that shit is starting to leak out. The Intel community has to be fuming and secrets like this will come out.

The article says all the Intel heads were in on briefing Trump. They brief the Gang of Eight on a regular basis in a SCIF. I cannot believe that this was not shared with Congress. Trump may not follow protocol, but the Intel chiefs do.

I distinctly remember at least one closed briefing where several Senators walked out white as ghosts. They couldn't answer any questions bacause Classified, but they were obviously upset. I suspect that is when it was first presented to them.
