Protestors are starting the 3rd night of occupation there (this is the park just north of the White House).
This isn't remotely the largest crowd I've seen in DC but I was still really impressed. Particularly because none of the "pros" (the people who show up to every national protest all the time -- you get used to seeing them) seemed to be there. This was just a bunch of everyday people from the area. I'm really curious to see what happens to the crowd tomorrow night -- if they're still around I might stick it out there too.

(4,871 posts)We had about 25 people show up, very enthusiastic with good signs. I had participated in the march against guns a few months ago. The response from passersby tonite was far more enthusiastic - many people honked, waived, whooped and gave thumbs up. Saw no negative responses.
I think Trump has finally jumped the shark with the public.
