The notion that republicans can't be moved to act against this president remains should be challenged, again and again.
We need to regain control of the legislative branch.

Honestly, our entire system has been failing us, constitution, congress, wh, courts, intelligence (none of it should even be happening in the first place), media, inadequate cybersecurity, etc. Btw, who is in charge of Equifax breach, russia?

Every time we can get the republican majority closer to confronting the excesses and abuses of this administration the better the prospects they'll act against him at the end of the SC investigation.
Politics isn't a static enterprise. Standing up to Trump in a unified way, even if it's just a resolution, a sense of the Senate, is at least a step toward providing a check on his behavior in office.
It's a baby step, but it may be significant. Remember, we vote in the fall.

(6,137 posts)President is not required to have clearance. Trump would have never gained clearance - its not easy to get. unless IC disobeys him and stop providing all of the info to him
