Dear Friends (a Reminder)
Bernie Sanders is not the President. He also did not win the Democratic Nomination. He also did not cause Hillary to lose the election. Whether or not Tad Devine was involved with Manafort does not necessarily implicate Bernie. That said, as a Bernie supporter who also supported Hillary in the general election, the truth of Devine's dealings need to be known at this point. I suspect we will find out in the coming weeks as Manafort goes to trial next week.
Do not waste time fighting over Bernie, what could have happened or how things could be. They are what they are and if we do not move on, then we will be playing directly into Putin's plan. I am not saying don't forget. We must not. We must learn from this. We must be vigilant against being divided and played against each other. Stand together and do not let us be forced apart by a foreign power.
We have but one mission: Defeat the Republicans, for they are proving as treasonous as Trump.
To do this, we need to get out the vote and not only hound our representatives in Congress but show them that we are willing to stand up for what we believe.
