Just like Trump's tax return that was leaked to the press.

The Cohen tape recording is a bit conspicuous that neither of them give much information out? So, why leak the recording? It a plot to discredit Cohen and taint any evidence of Trump's knowing of wrong doings? Just my take!

The master decided that tape was "privileged", which meant the only people who had access to it were Cohen, Cohen' lawyers, and tRump's lawyers. Cohen and Cohen's lawyers wouldn't have leaked it out because Cohen was the one who is targeted now, and he would want something to take to the prosecutors to make a deal. The only person who could have leaked the tape was Giuliani. Now Giuliani has the opportunity to spin the coverage of it, and he has totally screwed Michael Cohen.

Right now, the only thing you are hearing about this tape is coming from Giuliani, and he is spinning it to tRump's advantage.
