The *blatancy* of Putin & Shitler, they can't win, what's their game?

They are so in-your-face, so in-plain-sight, they can't be so delusional to think they could make it all work without overwhelming brute force that they do NOT have.

Does SHITLER *want* to self-sabotage?!1 Is the lack of self worth related to masochism? What's the game?

As if he's doing it purposely to effectively cause self-implosion.

I ain't never seen anything like this in all my born days, nor could've even fathomed.

It's quite sickening.

*, a steaming hot mess he is.

I'm sorry, but I cannot be troubled in my spirituality concerning him and his defects. IOW,
have a speck of compassionate feeling for redemption. Not my responsibility. He wields too much damage to so many that I have no charitable thoughts or prayers towards his redemption.

for years they kept shit more or less under wraps, not clandestine so much as insignificant. but now they're quite significant indeed and not at all clandestine. so by their calculations, they must not benefit anymore from stealth. Trump has squandered whatever advantages might come with the "dignity" of the office while failing to consolidate power even with a unified government. so what's the next move?

it has to be direct. something violent and distracting, would be my guess. something capable of solidifying and finalizing our existing cultural divisions, something awful enough to make 1/3 of us kill off another 1/3 of us while 1/3 watches and waits.

i really think Putin wants us shattered, broken, balkanized like the USSR in the '90s. by now, the plot must have progressed to the point where he figures they can operate in the open.

i don't think he seriously thinks he will get much from trump in terms of US policy .

for Trump it's about his shitty base and how they keep backing him and how republicans in congress do little to nothing to stop him.

the "good" thing may be that Putin is pushing hard and not trying to keep anything a secret because he doens't see this lasting long term so try to do as much damage as he can before trump is gone .

Trump and everyone around him are fools who think they are really really smart. They refused to listen to those who warned that past misdeeds would come back to haunt him. The GOP encouraged this delusion by blocking attempts to hold Trump accountable (tax returns, groping allegations, etc.) Trump didn't think his past would matter because he wasn't going to win - it was just a giant publicity stunt financed by gullible GOP backers.

Putin is steeped in decades of propaganda and he, like most Russians, firmly believe that all the talk in the US about justice, separation of powers, and freedom is just more propaganda. It is almost impossible for Russians like Putin to believe that all countries are not just as corrupt as their own.

Putin failed to understand that Trump cannot just wave a wand and hand over the Ukraine or make Mueller go away. And that every time Trump does anything to help Moscow, he puts another nail in the coffin of his presidency.

Putin is a mid-level KGB agent with no higher education. He is very good at spycraft but completely lacks any real understanding or skills to take his country from shithole to successful. The Russian people have been robbed blind by this corrupt jerk.

...only. I think, maybe, he did not think he would win, but that even in failure he would get a leg up on a new media venture. I think, maybe, he had an agreement with putin to promote his run, but that putin had grander ideas, thinking trump could actually win, with certain kinds of help, like $$$$ and supportive media, and hacking. I also think there is kompromat at some level. So trump was partly duped and partly blackmailed.

Setting it up for the next generation to do some real damage. Which is why white supremacist and hardcore racist groups are targeting colleges and even high schools hard. They know they can't win this round but they can set it up for future generations to do their evil doing.
