(5,737 posts)Football aside, I see something weird comparison between Colin and Tim Tebow. Colin has shown that he can play in the NFL (maybe not as a starter), while Tebow really isn't a AA starter - A starter at best, and that is where he should live. The right blames everybody for Tebow being in the Major Leagues, mostly because of his public prayers before and during games. Odd how just because he has religious convictions that he is a best baseball player ever. And he wasn't worth a shit in the NFL. Colin kneels because of his convictions and they want to burn him.

(8,910 posts)Drafted by the Cubs in 2009, he could probably still play at some level.
If Kaepernick pitches, I'd love to see Kaepernick .vs. Tebow matchup.
I believe Kaepernick is probably a better baseball player then Tebow.

(6,446 posts)do his numbers add up? That's how pro ball works nowadays, not "i don't think he's a starter". I think he could be an inspiring leader for the right team. That's as good as having the best arm. Maybe we differ in our sports philosophies?

No hate from me. By now Kapernick realizes Hillary wouldn't have made a fuss about who knelt during the national anthem.
Just sayin'

(10,893 posts)as someone who is being unfairly targeted by mean old Democrats while people like Kaep, Marshawn Lynch, Bruce Maxwell, etc. remain as villains just for silently protesting ongoing racism during an anthem.

"It was embarrassing to watch that these are our two candidates. Both are proven liars, and it almost seems like they're trying to debate who's less racist.
And at this point ... you have to pick the lesser of two evils. But in the end, it's still evil."
