We Might Have To Get Ready For Body Bags From Iran. Trump's War Could Be In The Wings.

All Trump has to do is provoke Iran into some kind of attack or create a fake attack scene like the Gulf of Tonkin to start a war and invasions of Iran. You almost feel like elements in the White House plan to do something that crazy. They are pushing regime change like we had in Iraq.

Of course, Russia and China would not necessarily stand aside in such a confrontation. The risk of a much larger conflict is very high. Add Israel to the mix and the entire region could erupt into chaos.

The GOP also would support such a war. The close Mueller gets to releasing something significant the more he danger increases. The GOP is totally corrupted and really evil. No hesitation about selling out the country.

The media would go wild with glee that it would have a world crisis to cover. It covets millions of new viewers to bolster its coffers. We could see deja vu from the Bush years. And any anti war protests might face violence from Trumpers.

If Trump started a war against Iran, I wonder if I might try to find a way into Iran to volunteer to provide medical care for Iranian troops, or, hell, crew a tank with them. It's not treason if one's country is emulating the Nazis.

They know that Republicans are essentially cowards. The do not intentionally attack countries they know will shoot back (Iraq was a miscalculation, not an exception). Their preferred kind of America-initiated hostilities are directed at such "formidable" adversaries as the Caribbean Island of Grenada (Reagan) or Panama (Bush, Senior).

Iran would shoot back. North Korea would shoot back. Don't look for any Republican president sending troops to either place.

The fact that Iran has a huge and active opposition movement should also not be overlooked. The only way to help out the Ayatollahs and devastate that opposition and bring it back to supporting the regime would be for a foreign power to invade Iran from the outside. They know that. The U.S. military knows that. Our intelligence services know that. In fact, the only ones who DON'T seem to know that are Trump, Bolton, and the Republican members of Congress. The danger here is that, to use Obama's phrase, they are proud of their ignorance.
