I overslept so I missed Morning Joe. That always gets me pissed off.
I went on DU but was still calm. My hubby blames DU for getting me further pissed off but today has been fine.
Maybe I'm just worn down.
Anything get you on a rant today?

(27,758 posts)They made a boneheaded station closure in downtown Seattle and to say it had a negative impact on the commute would be a wild understatement. Yesterday was miserable, today was torture, and as a crowning touch, I decided to yell at someone in her 20s for not giving me a seat when it was available (not my finest moment, but she must have seen that many people around her were way older than she was).
I'm still upset, because this is a permanent change. We spend billions and billions on transit, and the upshot is that my bus routes, which were very usable and made it easy for me to get around, are systematically being dismantled in favor of the boondoggly system known as Sound Transit, which as far as I can tell, is specifically designed for people who work at tech companies, let the rest of us who've paid into and ridden the bus for years just suffer. It's bad for me, but way worse for disabled people, many of whom have had to curtail activities because of the changes.
I called the bus people yesterday and the county council today (who accidentally disconnected me and then didn't return my later call, which is not adding to my mood in a positive way).

(22,755 posts)in my house and can't figure how to run the Electrical wiring w/o tearing more wall... whew... finally figured I could tunnel (using my table saw) in the stud supporting the header and hide the wire
besides that I was ranting about my inability to do anything to help our Country...
our gov't is kidnapping kids
our precious lands are going to be exploited and abused
we have a large number of citizens in the United States that are cruel, ignorant, racist, just all around unpleasant
the bear walked through my beautiful lush tomato plants and broke stems
my son hasn't moved all the logs (that he cut off the property) he has laying all around my yard
and on and on
