Have you ever asked a right winger

or a Trump supporter this question: "Can you name 3 news sources you trust and believe? Because you seem so well informed, I was just wondering what news outlets you rely on for your information?"

It woudl be interesting to hear some answers if you could get them to reply. I mean, would they actually say FOX News? Would they admit they trust InfoWars or Breitbart?

My guess would be Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, and whatever right-wing talk show they listen t TheRealNorth Jul 2018 #1
I doubt they READ the Wall Street Journal. elleng Jul 2018 #5
But they will still say the Wall Street Journal because it will make them sound smart. TheRealNorth Jul 2018 #18

A guy waltzed into my office the day Comey's comments hit the right wing media. He is in his 70's but he was light on his feet this day. He was giddy saying "We GOT her!!" I just asked, what news do you watch. He answered easily and comfortably "Fox News". No embarrassment or shame. He assumed he was in friendly territory.

However, far more people watch ABC, NBC, and CBS news shows than watch Fox News.

Not only ABC, NBC, and CBS, but whenever I'm out on business and in some local diner where there's a TV playing, I've noticed that more and more of them are playing the local cable news networks rather than the big 3 or Fox.

and he said Fox and the internet. He had no idea what sources he was accessing on the internet. I suggested it might be a good idea to vet them before he went around repeating what he read. I don't think he took it very well as he doesn't really talk to me anymore. Personally, I'll take that as a win.

My husband teased her about watching Fox and she got all defensive and stormed out of my home. From what I’ve heard she’s gone all in for Twitler and watches Fox proudly now. She was a fun person and good friend of 30 years but we no longer talk. It’s so sad how Fox and the rightwing propaganda media industrial has so divided our country, family and friends. That network is a malignant cancer on our society.

I know it's an aggregator btw. Infowars 4th. Investors Business Daily for the more high brow or well off as its more RW than the WSJ. Daily Mail UK would be tossed in too. Daily Caller and other lesser RW lights bringing up the rear.
