I find it sad and very unprofessional for what claims to be a news organization.

CNN is as professional, if not more, than any of the other news channels and way more truthful than Pravda Faux Snooze. Now, I do disagree with their "both sides" take that is wrongly used way too much by all of the MSM.

I don't know if Melanias spokesperson actually said this or they are just poking fun, but I'm OK with it either way. Trump is the one who is unhinged, mean, and unprofessional. He caused this by exploding when his wife wasn't his subservient little doll and watched a program he hates.

at CNN. I find them to be little more than 24/7 breathless, breaking news infotainment that is squeezed between the latest advertisements for pharmaceuticals that we didn't know we needed.

That said if they are to live up to their claim of "The Most Trusted Name in News" (or whatever the tag line is this week.) then trolling the President and First Lady (Yes, even this President and First Lady) is completely unprofessional and just shows how far things have slipped in our Tweet - "Boy They Really Got Them" CounterTweet World.

I cannot even imagine an Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite or David Brinkley releasing such a self serving statement by any method.

It is simply sad.

Personally I believe that CNN is trying to provide the best coverage that they can. Did you actually ever listen to Murrow? I remember my parents listening to his broadcast during the war. That is where he gained a degree of fame.

including CNN, MSNBC and alike. I can get what I need along the way without wading through the repetitive infotainment morass that they present. To answer your question Yes, I have listened to Murrow, Cronkite, Huntley/Brinkley and professional journalists such comes with having been around more than a few years.

I s'pose if it's what we're looking for, we can 'find' any message we want, regardless of what's actually said.

not the news division. Not quite equating to the firewalls between editorial, opinion, and advertising in a newspaper, but analogous.

Sorry, I don't get where you are coming from.

Just because of a perceived uncomfortableness from the Orange blowhard for the thanks to his wife, does not make it unprofessional. That is all on him. No one else in the world would take this as a dig other than him, for his tirade. So why do you care if CNN gives an unasked for compliment to the FLOTUS when it only would disturb one person in the world...baby Donald? The one that constantly acts unprofessional towards CNN?

Donald forbidding her to do anything. Anyone who thinks he's some kind pants wearing tyrant over her understands nothing about women. Certainly he needs her more than she needs him.

She's already paid her dues to a very lucrative divorce settlement. Eric and Jr probably hate her for the potential to rob them of their inheritance, as I'm confident she will one day.

it's nice to see that the "kidney operation" scars are healing nicely around her ears and neck, and are hardly noticeable any more.
