Avenatti: Presidential candidates should be required to take an intelligence test

Stormy Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti on Saturday suggested that presidential candidates be required to take an intelligence exam and release the results publicly.

In a tweet, Avenatti said that candidates should take the Wonderlic test, the same exam that football players take before entering the NFL draft.

"Why shouldn't all presidential candidates have to take the Wonderlic or a similar test and have the results published?" Avenatti tweeted. "This should be required in 2020 for all (inc Mr. Trump). We deserve to know the intelligence level of the person who wants to be our president (a big factor)!"

Avenatti is representing adult-film star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, in her lawsuit against Trump and his former longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Can't say that I object to that.

Tom Steyer is just on MSNBC as well.

Mitch Landrieu was just on the Axerod Files last night.

We could have a very deep bench for 2020 including those above and Harris, Kennedy, Warren, Booker, Schiff, Holder, Castro.

Who am I leaving out?

Before the convention, the final candidates should obtain a minimum of top secret security clearance so they can be briefed before the election. This makes sense to me for security, not political, reasons.

Consists of 50 questions timed at 50 minutes.

A perfect score would be 50 (50/50 correct). The highest score by NFL prospects is (I believe 32)

A score of 10 (lowest possible) indicates the individual is literate.

Dotard (since he reads at a 4th grade level) would score a maximum of:

SIX.

The test would have to be refined as times change. That makes them more easily manipulated by whoever is in control. Washington, Lincoln, FDR and Trump would all have had to take different tests based on the methodology of the times. I do not trust that to be impartial under any government.

hard-working, career politicians with a history of service. He might be gearing up for a celebrity presidential campaign.

Have I mentioned that I am skeptical of Mr. Michael Avenatti?
