(31,261 posts)Her and the CBS chair are in a struggle that has spilled into Court. I would not be surprised to find that she is the one that is blowing him up. Not smart to take on the daughter of a man who hung by his hands from a skyscraper with fire burning both his hands, then made a fortune only to be kicked upstairs by his dear daughter. In short, she seems to be a tough cookie.

(959 posts)this is the jerk who just LOVED having Dump and Co. on his network 24/7, every idiotic moment of every utterance, and when asked about why, made the crack that "It's terrible for the country but great for CBS". Well, asshole, having your old, misogynist ass on the unemployment line will be even better, for everyone.

because he was doing a wicked pisser good job of reporting on the republican treason against the USA by colluding with russia.
Instead, he put in A HAPPY NEWS ANCHOR with stupid feature stores about stamp collectors and funny animals.
Lame shit pretending to be journalism. Moonves and Happy Journalism need to get tossed. Bring back news.

(14,167 posts)She is disdainful of Moonves, the CBS president who ordered the outside investigation. "He doesn't know journalism from dirt farming," Mapes said. In the book, noting that Moonves courted and then married "Early Show" anchor Julie Chen, she writes: "I used to say everything Les knows about journalism had been sexually transmitted. Now I know even that hasn't taught him much."
She says Viacom, CBS's corporate parent, threw her overboard because Chief Executive Sumner Redstone feared regulatory retaliation by the Bush administration.

Hope he goes the way of Matt Lauer. And I wonder if Chen has any secrets to spill.
