Franken made the Mueller investigation possible.

Gillibrand is awful.

Do you have to vote for her? In this environment, I would have to put a clothespin on my nose and just do it. Taking one for the team.

because she was the first Democrat out of the shoot calling for Al's resignation and leading a charge of other Democrats that resulted in his leaving the Senate without due process. Many of us feel he was railroaded and therefore Kirsten Gillibrand is not a favorite person. I for one am tired of Democrats eating their own without due process/ ethic committee action. It doesn't happen often, but I do hold a grudge on this one. I sent Kirsten scathing letter shortly after her leap to condemnation. I still do not like her or the way she does politics. Sorry that you apparently do. To each, their own.

handled a situation which showed lack of judgement in my opinion and the opinion of several others. A difference of opinion is not a lie and I resent that opinion being called a lie! Everyone has the right to express their opinions on DU, or at least that is what I have been told.

If I absolutely have to vote for her I will. But she did lead the railroading of Al Franken, silencing a strong, forceful, and insightful voice just when we were needing as many of those as we could get.

And all because of a dumb slap-happy end-of-tour practical joke, Roger Stone, a has-been, low-rated, low-power AM crank station hoping for attention and a Democratic scalp, and some Minnesota county fair attendee who wanted her picture taken with Franken and then complained that “he touched my waist!”

And BTW, that hatchet job did nothing to help said talk station’s lousy ratings, either! I worked across the hall at its FM sister station back when that particular AMer was one of the top stations in LA. Its past glories are so far back in its rear view mirror by now that they’re barely visible. Just like its current ratings! Maybe there’s some justice, albeit minimal.

It breaks my heart that Al was sidelined when we need him in Washington DC more than we ever did. I have sat through some of the tRump administration's testimonies and all I can think of is how effectively one of the best and brightest was silenced. That's a pain that doesn't go away.

very blue, she sides with oil industries and helped push the KXL permit, among other things that would make me not vote for her is she were in my state.

PS... she's in a state next to mine.

The time to fight those kind of battles is in the primaries.

After the primaries, vote Democratic. Unless you want to give power to RubleCons by not voting or voting third party.

We represent 51% of the population, so we should not be satisfied until we have equality in the House and Senate.

Aren’t we supposed to have representative government? Isn’t that the whole idea, in the first place?
