Portland Oregon Police.

The incident in June where Portland police stood by while Nazis attacked protesters and the incident this weekend where police aggressively charged at protesters in support of Nazis cause me to feel there is something grossly wrong with the leadership of that department. It is distressing to see Nazis complementing police.

Is there anyone here from Portland. Are my concerns off base? If not, why haven't Portland political leaders sacked police leaders?

but have been following the fascist protecting the fascist....Civil Rights are being ignored here by police, civil rights and civil suits need to inundate this fascist stronghold of police. Find a good civil right lawyer, especially the protestor that was seriously injured.

2. Portland is a liberal city, with a supposedly liberal mayor and council.

The police chief and captains should be fired and the firing should continue until cops there are not facilitating the activities and assaults of Nazis. This goes for police departments ANYWHERE.

The DOJ was warning of White Supremacists infiltrating police forces...

Then a black guy was elected and the GOP decided that having Klan Kops wasn't as bad as having a Black President tell the country about Klan Kops.

So they crushed any further study of the issue and went apeshit when ever it was mentioned.

I live in Portland, and these cops are the worst of the worst.

6. Why doesn't the Mayor and Council do something about them?

My guess is most if not all of the cops chose to live outside the city. City officials should start firing at the top and bring in a police commissioner who will clean up the rank and file.

Their conduct seems to be intolerable and I don't understand why city officials are tolerating it.
