Senate. If that is the case the best we can expect is a redux of the last two years, provided Obama is able to get re-elected
To add salt to the wound we have people like ron wyden saying that he will work with paul ryan to destroy Medicare. When we have "democrats" working against principles that were the foundation of the Democratic party, we are in big trouble.
I am extremely pesimistic, and believe all the rights that were gained in the last 60 years, will need to be refought.
Everything from Social Security and Medicare, to a woman's right to choose is in a very precarious position.

Why would any independents go to the polls?
I am expecting a Democratic wipe out that will last a few decades.

(21,078 posts)repubs who like any of them. They're considered a joke and not to be taken seriously. The House's actions toward Obama's jobs bill, and all of their obstructionism, plus the hate here in Florida for repub governator Rick Scott is fueling this.

We had our chance to change things (a bit) in 2009-10, and Obama and the Senate leadership threw it away - quite intentionally.
