I am glad I have seen this story on both CNN and MSNBC today about Melanie's hypocrisy and her idiot hubby's BS about being against chain migration. I read the story on DU and heard silence from the MSM yesterday so that is good to know it is getting some attention over Giuliani's side show of distraction.

(45,432 posts)go find a less diverse country, of which there are plenty.
America is built by immigrants of all types and backgrounds and is not going to stop anytime soon. It's way too late to make America white. Trump's policies are slowing down immigration and screwing a lot of innocent people caught in between, but won't reverse the diversity of people who are born here.
Sure, they'll find creative ways to come after American born minorities by stupidly lying about our birth like they did with Obama. But there are way too many of us for it to work.

Wiki: Ingraham grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut, where she was born to Anne Caroline (née Kozak) and James Frederick Ingraham III. Her maternal grandparents were Polish immigrants, and her father was of Irish and English ancestry.
She graduated from Glastonbury High School in 1981. Ingraham earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1985 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1991.
Social and political views. In 2017, Ingraham was described by the New York Times as an "ardent nationalist".
She is known for her strong support for Donald Trump. She holds hawkish positions on immigration, and in 2014 Ingraham said that allowing more immigrant workers to come to the United States would be "obscene to the American experience". She opposed the proposed bipartisan 2013 US Senate comprehensive immigration reform plan. Ingraham has said that her influences include Ronald Reagan, Robert Bork and Pat Buchanan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laura_Ingraham
Ingraham needs to learn about US Immigration, esp. the 1965 Law!

(10,828 posts)That was the perfect answer to Ingraham's ignorance. This is the way to push back: with intelligence, passion and with our own history--the good and bad--standing at our shoulders. Because the Trumpers & Trumpettes don't get to rewrite the script.
