(7,616 posts)She has experience as a state legislator so she seems to know what she wants to do in Congress and did not blurt out naive answers like discussing whether or not she would vote for Nancy Pelosi before we even have taken Congress back or before she is seated.

(5,231 posts)...but I've certainly enjoyed talking to Ms. Tlaib over the years. She was our State Representative first. She knows her stuff.

(5,275 posts)So well spoken. Just saw Ms Occasio- Cortez on the Young Turks, well spoken rebutting insipid Fox News memes, she is one bright young star too.
It is about to change the look and stances of Democratic leadership, I see both of them as having potential to do just that down the road just a bit.

Think I read she was on the board of Justice Democrats, which is a bit of an oxymoron in itself.
But..what else has she done politically speaking
