I went to see BlacKkKlansman today.

It was excellent. Powerful. Humorous. Spike Lee did a great job.

Just wanted to say...if you're on the fence about it, it's worth your time & money.

1. +1 I saw it too, very good movie

I especially liked the way he tied into both current events and long past history.

2. I'm leaving to see it in ten minutes!

Mr. Femmedem and I tried to see it last night and it was sold out, which made me proud of my community. Got our tickets online for tonight.

10. I chose a matinee. But this is TrumpLand, so I think there would've been a seat. nt

3. I did too. I found that tears literally sprang to my eyes in that part - you know the part.

(I wont spoil it.)

That hasn't happened to me in a long time.

19. It is a clarinet.

I play therefore I use it as my sig line. I have thought about a tatoo of it too, a small one. I find it very attractive.

The film was excellent and it ties in so well with the present day.

18. I didn't know about them trying to start a party. I was a kid. Never heard about it.

I remember about that time wondering about whites having all the good jobs, and segregation. I remember, as a child, wondering how blacks felt about that. I remember thinking that whites having the good jobs is not right. Then I concluded that blacks must be okay with it, or they'd say something. (the innocent thinking of a child)

I still remember, all these years later, pondering that.

I was in the deep south. My mother didn't watch the news, so even if protests were shown on tv, I wouldn't have seen that. There certainly were no local protests.

20. Thanks for the recommendation!

I have been looking for a good film to watch in the theaters and haven't really been too tempted. However, I am looking forward to watching this one.
