Woman throws stuffed lips at Doug Jones, says he 'can kiss my ass' if he backs Kavanaugh

Alabama Sen. Doug Jones (D) faced a tense crowd at a Birmingham town hall on Monday, where multiple attendees urged him to reject Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

AL.com reported that one woman tossed a pair of stuffed lips at the senator, and told him he could "kiss my ass" if he voted for President Trump's nominee.

Jones set the woman off when he expressed disappointment that the National Archives has refused Democrats' request for documents from Kavanaugh's time working in the White House.

"You have enough information. We love you. But you will vote no. And you have enough information to vote no," the woman said.

The Archives' refusal to comply with the document request (obviously they are under Trump's thumb) is strong evidence that Kavanaugh is hiding something.

If Alabama had wanted another Republican rubber stamp in the Senate, they would have voted for the child molester. Here is a golden opportunity to show a difference between the parties. And if you're having difficulty coming up with plausible and palatable reasons for voting against Kavanaugh, check in with some of your caucus colleagues. Merkley and Warren are pretty astute.
