jail might be the only option, but it's only a little more secure than being out, and only if being out poses an unusual threat such as Putin.

couldn't be the same unless coed.) Anyway, she's as much of a con as Manafort. Maybe she could "arrange" a hit.

Its in his blood. Always looking for the angle, which is why they wouldn't let him stay out of jail on bond with an ankle bracelet. He just couldn't help himself. Clearly rules are for other people, until now.

He can't wear a suit in pre-trial hearings - only during the trial. My guess is he doesn't want more pics of him in a orange jumpsuit.

and loved it. Interesting enough, the short film that stole the show that night was Luxo Jr, the first computer generated animation we had ever seen. Pixar? Steve Jobs? San Rafael? We had no idea what was coming down the pike.

Thanks for posting it.

...and they realized that bad dude that he was, they probably didn't have enough admissible evidence to convict him -- so they released him with a wink-wink that he was being let out because he'd cooperated.

Sic transit bad dude.

He's not needed at those pretrial hearings, and I suspect the whole transport process is less than a comfortable experience. So, he's "waiving his right" to be present.

That's my thinking on this. He doesn't want to go through the process when it's not necessary.

On the other hand, maybe he and Maria Butina have been chatting at the jail and he doesn't want to miss out on that.

..they are gut wrenching and anxiety provoking. This may of course be part of his 'punishment' but hes still presumed innocent of these additional charges until the jury finds him not so.

is a pia for an inmate. They get them up at 3am and it takes all day sitting in holding tanks. It is hell. That is just my guess.

Up at 4, no food, searched, bused downtown to holding areas - violent/non violent all together, sorted, bused to whatever courthouse, many women report serious harassment on buses, held in communal cells with every type of offender, many whose meds haven't started in jail yet

Oh. Thanks.

I guess it's a hassle for prisoners. They have to get up extra early, have their schedules disrupted, etc. Now that he's a convicted felon, I think he'll have to ride the prison bus with the rest of the inmates. No more luxury SUV's.

you are ON TRIAL, suck it up and live with it or you could... nevermind.

I am sure that he and the russian whore are kept separated so as not to be able to communicate. Both are a menace to society and are probably there to keep them from getting "hit". I don't think he gets to wear a vest in transit and a sniper could take care of him rather quickly, is what come to mind when I see him walking in or out of the courthouse. I think about the way Cohen looks around for any oddities when he exits the building and the idea of a sniper comes to mind every time..

Each transport appearance is a photo op for press corp with little to cover otherwise, with some voice over on his conviction, which may not help Manaforts cause.
