PRIMARIES MATTER: Incumbent Dem candidate is a right-wing bigot who "Thanks God for slavery"

Meet your Florida Democratic rep: Kim Daniels. She is the incumbent state representative for one of the bluest districts in all of Florida, Legislative District 14 in Jacksonville. The Florida GOP isn’t even bothering running a candidate. This is for two reasons:

1. A Republican just can’t win here, and

2. They have something even better—an incumbent conservative extremist who supports them on everything

She’s the full Trump package. She’s unethical, a bigot, and a hatemonger who rails against women’s rights, LGBTQ folks, and is strongly anti-labor.

Why are the Duval County Democrats putting up with this? I understand not wanting to get involved in a primary, but if one of your people is a corrupt GOP ringer, I don’t think any true Democrat would mind you putting the thumb on the scale.
