What if this is Hell, and we are all condemned to an eternity of President Trump.

It is possible that Trump was never actually the President.

It is possible that we are all dead, still progressives, and we do not realize it.

It is possible that if we are dead, and if we are in Hell, that Trump will be the President for eternity.

On the bright side, even if we are dead, and in Hell, that means that Trump is not President for the living.

5. In one episode, hell was a place where everything came easy

And so boredom was the ultimate punishment. We do not live in boring times.

But then there was the episode where an entire town was trapped in separate universe run by a petulant five year old with enormous power.

14. A petulant 5 year old?

Why does that resonate so well?

7. No, my heirloom tomatoes taste way too good this summer for this to be hell!

And the Red Sox scored 11 runs in one inning. That wouldn't happen in hell (well, maybe Yankees hell!)

11. No end in sight

Endless tweets
Endless lies
Endless incriminating evidence
Endless investigations that do not conclude
Endless scandals with no consequence
Endless failed summits preceded by golf weekends
Endless emoluments violations, ching-ching
Endless GOP control of Congress
Supreme Court goes 9-0 in favor of Trump
Endless Sean Hannity and Rudy Giuliani
Endless opinion polls showing Trumps approval as "stable"
Endless press briefings from Sarah Whatshername Sanders
Endless "We'll see what happens"
Endless deplorable rallies with cries of "Lock her up!"

Everlasting hell could get no "better"!

13. If ever there was a personality that fits the antichirst,

Commander Bone Spurs is it. He is so self-absorbed, I can imagine him trying God's patience.

18. Actually, the anti-Christ is supposed to be charismatic and benign.

Traditionally the anti-Christ is supposed to be a person who brings peace and happiness to the world. A person who through a charisma and works convinces most of the people on earth, that he is a benevolent person. It is not until later that the anti-Christ begins to implement a program determining loyalty and "leading people away from Christ's teachings".

Trump would never qualify as the anti-Christ. He is too stupid and transparent. While he has given the bigoted and ignorant people in this country a leader. He has certainly not persuaded anywhere near the majority of people in the US, not to mention the rest of the world, to follow his lead.

Trump's appeal globally is completely tied to the power that the US has to influence economics and make war. Trump has NO respect from other leaders. No one really even fears him. They fear what the US may do under Trump's presidency.

People often think that the anti-Christ is the opposite of Christ in that they will be a jerk and arrogant. The danger with the anti-Chris, for people who believe in that, is that because they are benevolent and seemingly a good leader, that they can be easily lead astray. Remember that the worst thing about the Devil according to people who follow those beliefs, is that the Devil is the Prince of Lies. Not a pathological and transparent liar like Trump, but one who can convince people to turn away from God.

Trump can only do that to people who have already strayed far far away from any morality.
