Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) on Saturday shared a photo of three formers presidents from two political parties in attendance at the funeral for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), declaring "decency wins."

If you were decent at all, you would do something with these last few months you have in the Senate. You could stop the Kavanaugh nomination. You could stop any more toxic RW judges from being confirmed.

Pundits give these two credit for speaking out against trump. BS. Their occasional and timid criticisms of the illegitimate are as effective as thoughts and prayers are to stopping the epidemic of school shootings.

American democracy is being slowly destroyed and all Flake can do is spout empty words. He’s got a Senate vote. He could do something. He chooses not to because he needs the GOP hateful base for his future Presidential run.

Cravenness wins.
Party-before-country wins.
Selfishness wins.

Flake is a walking example of the people who are most responsible for our national emergency.

He is one of the reasons the others don't. They have seen how Trump goes after you and destroys careers.

At least he spoke up. That's more than most of them have. True, he still voted Republican. Well, he is Republican, and they fall in line. But I give him credit for speaking out.

Gosh, the spotlight falls on decent people behaving with gentility and decorum.

Well, I'm sure the Donald will do or say something egregious any minute now.
